Tom Boyle presents keynote at ICT 2010 in Singapore

Tom Boyle presented a keynote talk on “Enhancing learning through good design” at ICT 2010 held in Singapore from June 30-July 2. The talk presented an ecological perspective on learning in the 21st century and discussed ‘design for learning’ at module, session and learning object level. A central feature of the talk was a description of generative learning objects (GLOs) and a demonstration of GLO Maker 2. The talk was very well received, with the GLO Maker 2 demonstration attracting particular interest.
